Project quality comes before the counterparty
A sovereign wealth fund is not a source of financing available indiscriminately. Each investor operates under its own mandate, with criteria covering size, sector, return, governance and duration. The first question for a business is whether its project fits institutional capital and under what conditions a discussion would be reasonable.
Prepare the business for discussion
Preparation includes ownership clarity, the quality of the industrial plan, traceable data and a defined use of capital. A coherent equity story, an organised data room and scenarios separating expected growth from risk are essential. A new shareholder’s requested rights should be assessed against family objectives and management’s operating flexibility.
Anchorstone’s proposed contribution
Within its advisory and Capital Solutions capabilities, Anchorstone proposes strategic and documentary preparation for discussions with long-term investors, including sovereign wealth funds where appropriate. The work concerns project clarity, adviser coordination and assessment of the fit between the business and capital. Reserved activities are assigned to authorised entities where required.
Clarity of positioning
This area expresses a development direction for Anchorstone. It does not claim existing mandates, agreements, privileged relationships or engagements with sovereign wealth funds, governments or public institutions. It is not an offer of placement, intermediation or capital raising, nor a guarantee of access or investment.
