ANCHORSTONE / OUR CAPABILITIES

Africa

Understand individual markets. Build viable projects.

01

One continent, many distinct decisions

A credible African strategy starts with the country, sector and counterparty. Languages, commercial channels, payment systems and operating conditions need separate examination. For an Italian entrepreneur, the objective is to identify a concrete problem and demonstrate how products, capabilities or an industrial model can address it.

02

From sales to industrial partnership

Assessment can compare exporting, distribution, manufacturing agreements and a corporate presence. In a food project, for example, product quality must be considered alongside storage, logistics, sales channels and working capital. For property or production initiatives, feasibility and rights over assets should come before development assumptions.

03

Counterparties, receipts and operational continuity

An entry plan should test counterparty reliability, collection arrangements, currency conversion, cash repatriation and logistical dependencies. Matters for specialist investigation include beneficial ownership, contracts, applicable obligations and information protection. A project must be manageable and controllable as well as attractive.

04

Anchorstone’s focus

The African perspective forms part of the international positioning promoted by Anchorstone. The proposed contribution is to organise strategic questions, the financial plan and the coordination of advisers required by a project. Execution depends on mandate scope, local feasibility and availability of the necessary expertise; privileged access to institutions or counterparties is not promised.
